Jean-Pierre van Beers He took up the post of interim managing director at Springplank in mid-May 2026. He will hold this temporary role until November 2026, with the aim of ensuring continuity in management, organisation and service provision.
The past few months have been Springplank Foundation It has been a period of change. Following years of growth and development, the organisation launched a renewed vision in October 2025, centred on the individual and with a clear ambition: by 2030, no one will be forced to sleep rough. Guided by this vision, Springplank remains committed to providing people who are homeless, or at risk of becoming so, with security in terms of housing, work and participation in society.
Founder Thijs Eradus has indicated that, following thirteen years of committed leadership, this is the right time for him to take the next step and leave the organisation. As the founder of Springplank, he has made a significant contribution to the organisation’s development and built up an extensive network in Eindhoven and beyond.
Jean-Pierre is working alongside the staff at Springplank to ensure a smooth transition and the organisation’s continued development. In doing so, he is focusing, amongst other things, on strengthening collaboration and leadership within the organisation, improving financial management and the planning and control cycle, and simplifying the governance structure.
