Wikke is culture manager at CKE Eindhoven and tells more about the collaboration with 56 Eindhoven and Springplank.

“Creativity for all, that's our goal! That is of course very broad, but from my role as culture manager, I flesh it out by actively connecting culture to social issues, special target groups, to working on neighbourhoods and districts and that's how I came into contact with Ron from 56 Eindhoven a few years ago. Together we did some very nice projects and started working together.”

How do you think this collaboration is going?

“Good. When Ron told us he was looking for a space, we had just been given this space by a property developer and we are incredibly grateful that we can use it for free, in doing so he is really giving something back to the city. We found Ron's request from 56 Eindhoven very fitting for what is happening here. There are also all kinds of other artists and designers doing all kinds of projects here, and that goes very well together. I actually really like it that they mix, so you get a very interesting mix of all kinds of people and I like that too. So that the candidates of Springplank are not put in a box somewhere, but are just part of such a functioning system. I would love to continue this collaboration!”
