Ukraine shelter

Since the outbreak of war in Ukraine, it has been helping Springplank with the Ukraine shelter in Eindhoven, where we offer refugees a safe place and guidance. The Ukraine shelter Springplank is part of our social commitment to give people perspective and peace of mind during a difficult period.

What started as an emergency crisis shelter in an event hall with space for 100 people has grown into long-term accommodation for currently 750 people spread across four group sites and 40 separate houses in the city. Here we provide not only shelter, but also support, activities and contact with local agencies to promote integration.

Our social managers and site supervisors deal with resolving technical malfunctions, connecting residents with the appropriate support agencies and creating a safe living environment. Working together with the Eindhoven municipality and civil society organisations, Ukraine shelter Springplank ensures that residents feel welcome and seen, and can work step by step towards a new future.
