A new restaurant has recently opened on the campus of Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e). ‘Happie040’ is an initiative by chef Mounir Toub (pictured) and is largely run by ex-homeless people. It is a meeting place for students, staff and local residents. 

According to former homeless person and manager Rodin van Zanten, fresh and nutritious meals are prepared at Happie040 every day. “These are not only served in the restaurant, but are also delivered to shelters of Springplank040. 

Springplank's kitchen has room to start serving more meals in the region! Therefore, it is now possible to order varied, balanced, tasty and nutritious meals via a webshop for €7.50 per meal.
