‘Shacked up’ in a worn-out building under a car park, with only a partition between the beds as a form of privacy. For decades, it was the reality at homeless shelter ’t Eindje on Mathildelaan in Eindhoven. After a year-long renovation, that is a thing of the past.
3-7-2025 opened the 18 studios, each with its own house number and front door. Each living space also has its own bathroom, bed, writing desk and kitchen. A very big advance.
