On the TU/e site, Bakkie040 has opened a new location and more to follow.
In not too long, restaurant Happie040 will also open with the same aim of promoting social connections.
Happie040 will open in May, just twenty metres away from the new coffee shop, a restaurant where people can have a nutritious evening meal for 7.50 euros. Particularly intended so that people with a little less money can also have a bite to eat outside.
When Happie040 is also open, they will make 400 portions a day for people in the shelter, but also for students on campus, for example. The restaurant will soon also serve lunch.
