| About Springplank

Springplank helps (threatened) homeless people get their lives back on track.

Springplank supports homeless people, and those at risk of becoming homeless, to regain control of their lives. According to Springplank, these are prerequisites for being able to find space, peace and meaning to build an independent existence, and continue it on their own. The aim is to create a route to livelihood security, focusing on the three essential living areas in the Springplank pyramid of needs: living, working and participating in society.

Where other organisations are often limited to crisis shelter, Springplank focuses on the person as a whole and we provide three domains of life that we believe are necessary for a sustainable independent existence: living, working and participating. Through our work, we aim to promote a resilient and inclusive society in which everyone has the opportunity for a stable and dignified life.

| The Identity video

The world is changing. Springplank moves with it.

With the launch of our Identity video, we present our renewed vision of livelihood, humanity and collaboration. A vision that is not only visible, but also tangible in everything we do, make and share.

The Identity video: who we are in image and feeling.
Warm, people-oriented and professional. Made in collaboration with our colleagues, candidates and partners, the video shows how we are building together a society where everyone can participate. We invite you to watch and participate. Because change starts with meeting.

| About Springplank

Our core values

01. Personal
Springplank believes in a personalised approach, where building trust between people is key. Our staff are decent, committed and helpful professionals who do not let go of people and continue to support them as long as necessary. Work is based on the principle of ‘people's own strength’, where self-reliance and customisation are paramount. The organisation treats everyone with respect and creates a safe environment where candidates and employees feel heard and seen.
02. Practical
In an increasingly complex world, Springplank strives for approachability. Our staff work ‘independently in cohesion’ within Springplank's frameworks to continually seek practical solutions that match candidates‘ issues and realities. This means that by ’thinking around', we devise and implement simple and purposeful solutions, thereby outlining and offering candidates perspective even when social and bureaucratic systems are inadequate. The focus is on what can be done rather than what cannot be done.
03. Reliable
Trust is the basis of everything we do. Springplank works from trust and realistic expectations. People are heard, promises are kept, and what is done is done well. The aim is to be consistent and reliable in the quality of service and results for candidates. We speak to each other where necessary so that we can continue to develop and achieve our common goals. ‘Stick to the plan’ is the guiding principle to stick to long-term goals, despite the challenges of the day.

The Springplank needs pyramid

Springplank has its own definition of livelihood security. This definition is summarised in the Springplank needs pyramid with three essential living areas; living, working and participating. According to Springplank, these are requirements to be able to find space, peace and meaning to build an independent existence, and continue it on one's own.
